The club was born from the passion for the Jeep brand, the desire to go off road and the vision of a group of friends to bring back to life a historical place of Italian off-roading.

After many years of experience helping to organize together with a friend Bruno Tinelli, the guys from the Jeepers Club Milano and the very famous Sport club Maggiora Jeepers Meeting of Maggiora (NO), given the proximity between the two slopes Pragiarolo di Maggiora and Piani della Luna in Rastiglione, these realities wanted to join them to the JM 2018 with the "Moon trails" which brought more than 150 Jeeps of the 697 registered at the Jeepers Meeting to tread these tracks which have been closed for over 30 years of inactivity.

The club members have restored this fantastic off-road track after many years of neglect, also with the help of the friends of the ClubMTB the Owlsdi Pogno who, with the same objectives, found themselves in perfect agreement and united in keeping the wooded areas adjacent to the mtb and off-road tracks tidy, clean and protected.

The great work done in the past years to rearrange these places was done to make these beautiful places usable again and bring the legendary American off-road vehicles back to travel the old tracks of the Piani della Luna track in Rastiglione (VC) born in the 70s from the efforts of a group of local visionary jeepers who had given life to it until the mid-80s.

In 1971 the founders of the Valsesia Fuoristrada Club, driven by a great passion for engines and off-road vehicles, formed a partnership that led them with hard work and effort to create the Piani della Luna track, to allow local drivers to training and being able to race in the young "Italian CIVF off-road speed championship" born in those years.

The members of the Pian della Luna Jeepers club wanted to pay homage to these pioneers of Italian off-roading by bringing this beautiful track back to life, the result of many sacrifices and work done in the past by the Valsesia Fuoristrada Club on these territories where they imported from the United States in the legendary 70s the first Jeeps and later they held the first national championship races, bringing off-road vehicles and drivers from all over Italy to Rastiglione.

The Club's goal is to revive these areas that have been neglected for too long through the promotion of a conscious tourism of enthusiasts who will be able to appreciate them with trekking, off-road and mountain bike excursions.

The founders of the Pian della Luna Jeepers Club had a secret dream called Jeep Legend, thanks to the commitment and desire of all the members of the Club, they wanted to bring the off-road vehicles of the Jeep brand back to this corner of off-road paradise. The idea is to bring back the old Jeep CJs that with their powerful V8s and their drivers had competed on these tracks in the past and see them run again together with all the models of the brand, from the older Willis, CJ and SJ passing through the Wrangler YJ, the XJ and ZJ and arriving at the younger Wrangler Jk and JL and create an event to share them with the new generations of jeepers by breathing the same air of the past and making the V8s roar again together with the 6 cylinders and the modern diesel in these wonderful places in total respect for nature.

The JeepLegend aims to make the two days of the event unforgettable between enthusiasts and friends, for owners of the 7-slit brand.

The "Moon Trails" born at Jeepers Meeting 2018 blue and red routes have become an integral part of the very famous Jeep rally, these routes wind along old dirt roads full of history that connected the areas for commercial exchanges of the time, the Jeep caravans left from the Pragiarolo di Maggiora racetrack passing through Gargallo and Soriso and crossing the dirt roads adjacent to the park of Monte Fenera to finally arrive at the track at Piani della Luna in Rastiglione.
